The defense market is growing and evolving faster than ever, continuously creating the need for new solutions as we draw fresh lessons from the battlefields of Ukraine. Beyond the hope of contributing to the country’s sovereignty, there are significant business opportunities for ever-new and sometimes unexpected solutions. That is why Defense Hub Sweden, Östergötland’s joint initiative for defense innovation, invites to a series of events aimed at bringing the region’s business community and defense organizations closer together.
On this occasion, the future material needs of the defense sectors are on the agenda and we (together with IMA – Innovative Materials Arena and ACS – Aerospace Cluster Sweden) are hosting this event at IMA One. On November 4, we take a closer look at materials and the performance requirements they must meet on the battlefield, both on the ground and in the air domain.
